The ANUGA trade fair stands as the pinnacle event in the agri-food sector, gathering professionals every two years. Following a challenging edition in 2021 amid complex health circumstances, the 2023 edition proved to be a resounding success for exhibitors, attracting nearly 140,000 industry professionals.

In this latest edition, food products were prominently showcased across six specialized halls: Bread & Bakery, Frozen, Drinks, Meat, Dairy, and Fine Food. A total of 168 French companies and 8 partner regions joined forces under the Taste France banner, occupying an impressive 2,700m² space!

The Taste France communication campaign was prominently featured during the event through six sector-specific videos displayed on the trade fair's giant screens. These videos aimed to highlight French expertise and promote the presence of the 6 France pavilions.

Throughout this flagship industry event, several notable personalities graced the French exhibitors with their presence suchas the Vice-President of the Hauts-de-France Region, Mr. François DECOSTER, the Minister of Agriculture and Consumer Protection of North Rhine-Westphalia, Mrs. Silke GORISSEN, and the French Consul General in Germany, Mr. Etienne SUR.

Thanks to the collaborative efforts of Business France and the French exhibitors, there were ample opportunities for suppliers and buyers to engage in extensive discussions and networking. These interactions took place during various product showcases and culinary demonstrations led by Chef Charles Soussin and his team. Additionally, a well-received welcome cocktail at the Business France reception booth provided another occasion for networking.
